Access
Search tab
The Search tab is a packaged tab which is used to access the search view.
Anyone who requires access to the Search functionality will require permissions to access this tab.
When accessing the tab for the very first time in an org, loading times may be longer than usual.
It may appear as if the page is not loading, but this is expected.
Custom linking
If a user has permissions to access the tab, a custom URL link can be built to navigate from any custom UI, using the following relative URL:
/lightning/n/seven20__Search
Field permissions
Searching is primarily done against information on the Contact record.
Depending on the specifics of the user's query, different fields will be checked.
To ensure that the user is able to search against the fields they require, the following fields must be readable for the user:
- Contact.Name
- Contact.Email
- Contact.Title
- Contact.MailingAddress
- Contact.MailingCountryCode
- Contact.CreatedDate
- Contact.LastActivityDate
- Contact.seven20__Daxtra_Id__c
- Account.Name
- seven20__Record_Code__c.seven20__Contact__c
If the query is utilising additional field filters, ensure read permissions are granted for those fields
