Stage Customisations
Individual stages can be further customised to drive functionality through the application. For example, a stage could be configured to be repeatable on the ATS, allowing the stage transition effects to be replayed. This is done through the Seven20 Settings Configuration screen, by clicking the Application Customisations section and then the Stage Customisations sub section.
Assigning a customisation
Customisations are managed via a table view, with each row representing a different setting for a stage and record type combination. New customisations can be added by clicking the Add Customisation button at the bottom right of the table. The following columns are present on the table:
| Column Name | Description | Editable |
|---|---|---|
| Label | A user friendly label for the customisation | No |
| Stage | A picklist of stages available, this is not filtered by selected record type | Yes |
| Customisation Name | A picklist of available customisations, the specific value reflects where this customisation is expressed | Yes |
| Customisation Value | The value of the customisation, this is specific to the customisation name selected | Yes |
| Record Type | A picklist of available record types, or none | Yes |
| Active | A checkbox to indicate if the customisation is active or not | Yes |
If a customisation doesn't have a record type assigned, it applies to all record types, unless that record type has an active customisation of the same name.
When a stage has a customisation that is specific to a record type, any other stages of the same type will also require a customisation specific to that record type, rather than relying on the default for that stage.
For example, if there are two interview stages, First Stage Interview and Second Stage Interview, and a record type customisation is applied to First Stage Interview, the desired behaviour for Second Stage Interview must also be configured via its own record type customisation.
Removing a customisation
Customisations cannot explicitly be removed once they have been saved. Instead, they can be deactivated by unchecking the Active checkbox. This allows the customisation to be reactivated at a later date if required.
If the customisation has not yet been saved, it can be removed by clicking the Remove Bin button on the row.
