Sites

This guide is for creating and managing sites to be used with a Seven20 Integration, these sites are not designed to be visited but are instead used to facilitate webhooks. Official salesforce document on sites is available here.

Creating A Site

Please follow the steps for creating a site provided by Salesforce

  • Ensure the site is named and labelled appropriately
  • Ensure the site is active
  • For Active Site Home Page select InMaintenance

Assigning Permissions

  • From the Sites setup page click a created Sites label
  • Click public access settings
    • From here permissions can be assigned to sites the profile

Do not assign any permissions not explicitly required. Assigning additional permissions can leave data exposed.

Assigning Permission Sets

  • From the Sites setup page click a created Sites label
  • Select Public Access Settings
  • Select Assigned Users and select the assigned user
    • From here permission sets and permission set groups can be assigned in the standard way
